dining table is a copy of our neighbor's Shaker work table. It
has a drawer on either side to hold placemats and silverware.
We have made this table in cherry, bird's eye and tiger maple
and in mixtures of woods. Size is determined by the customer.

The Shakers made many beautiful one-leaf tables and used them
wherever an expandable table was needed. This one was made as
a desk with one dovetailed drawer, and combines cherry with
tiger maple.
